how much body fat do you have? if you have a lot of fat muscles develop under the fat and it won’t be visable unitl you loose the fat. that’s the reason behind all the low fat diets. i got a coworker who can reps 225 on bech press, but i can’t see any muscle b/c he has too much body fat.
It takes the body days of recuperation after a workout to repair damage and then begin to generate new muscle cells which is what would should you "new" growth.
