How do I gain muscle mass without gaining fat mass?

I am 5’8" 155 lbs. I have a decent amount of fat and I have medium bone structure. I want to get to about 165-170 lean and without gaining a waist while gaining muscle mass. How do I achieve this?

    u seem like a pretty healthy guy lolz… umm i guess you can start drinking some protein shakes and excercise. u can eat the minimum of junk food. trust me on this… my brother does this and he’s in great shape nice and lean i guess the way you describe it lol =D
