Do you need supplements to get muscular?
I work out and i’m just wondering do you need protein shakes or any other type of supplement to gain more muscle? I have asked some people who have good amounts or a lot of muscle and some say they don’t take anything. I dont know how they get so strong looking without the use of supplements. Could they be lying? or could it be true?

You don’t need supplements to add muscle — you just need to workout hard and eat clean. Protein supplements like 100% whey powder allow you to fill in some of your nutritional "gaps" over the course of the day, but other than that, there is really nothing magical about them.
Bottom line is to focus on eating 5-6 small meals a day with a good balance of lean protein, complex carbohydrates, and some healthy fat. Protein powders are best consumed around your workouts — whey powder in particular is good immediately following your workout, since it’s quickly digested.
Other than that, work hard in the gym, get plenty of rest, and eat well and you will make gains — no fancy supplements necessary.
Best of luck!
To gain muscle you need to be in a calorie surplus and eat more than your body burns, you need to eat plenty of protein and some people prefer getting their protein from a easy source such as whey protein, where they can just make a quick protein shake and get almost half of their protein intake.
Eat more food ( clean food ), eat plenty of protein, lift heavy
