How to make your own emp protection

As our sun is nearing its solar maximum in 2012 and 2013, the earth is a sitting duck just waiting to get hit by a massive flare of charged particles and plasma, which could trigger an EMP that could destroy over power-hungry society and send us right back to the 18th century.

So what can you do about this? There is no need for panic nor despair. If the emp scenario should happen, and you have made proper preparations , then you and your family would have good odds of surviving the chaos that a post emp world would be thrown into.

You should also stock some food and medicine, preferably you should have enough food to last for at least 6 months, and the medicine cabinet should hos antibiotics, scalpels, needle and thread and iodine.

If you live in an urban area, you should make an evacuation plan as neither urban areas nor deserts provides the resources needed to survive in a post EMP world. EMP is not dangerous for humans or other living things both will knock out the world as we know it today, and so you can no longer rely on modern commodities, food or other electrically powered supplies that you enjoy today.

A perfect place in a post EMP world would be a small countryside community with enough natural resources to sustain life for at least two years, until some primitive form of agriculture can be established.
