The Simplest Way That Will Get Clear of Moles, Warts as well as Skin Tags

Do you have unwanted moles, warts, and skin tags? If you do, don’t fell depressed because there are ways to remove them. These things are skin lesions and most of them are non cancerous or benign and if you find them irritable, painful, and an ugly thing, you can have them removed.

The most common way to remove moles, warts, and skin tags is through surgical procedures but there are still other methods being employed. However, some moles that change in color or shape may be cancerous and doctors may advise you to undergo a surgery. Oftentimes, patients are referred for biopsy wherein the sample of a lesion is examined in the laboratory.

You can remove relatively small and harmless moles, warts or skin tags with the use of a liquid gas or smearing a certain substance on them. The gas or material ‘freezes’ the lesion, which makes it easier to remove. Large-sized skin lesions require surgery. It’s not necessary to stay overnight at the hospital since the surgical operation is not invasive.

However, obtrusive operations require a local anesthetic to remove moles and warts. The area becomes numb and you do not fall to sleep, so during the operation, you’ll be awake. Sometimes exemptions are made and the patient will be put under general anesthetic. After about two hours, you can drive home if you required a local anesthetic, but those who were under a general anesthetic should have someone drive for them. It’s also good to have someone near you for at least a day to monitor if you have reactions from the drugs.

You can keep doing our normal activities after the moles and warts are taken off. However, you have to be extra careful to make sure you don’t bump or scrape the treated area. Some patients may feel some pain or discomfort, and taking Paracetamol will ease this.

You will need to return to the clinic or hospital afterwards, if the stitches are not dissolvable. Watch the area and check for swelling or pus. If you have seen any of these signs, it may mean that the area is infected so contact your physician immediately.

Surgical procedures are very safe and there are no harmful effects. However, the anesthetic may have possible effects so you should monitor the affected area for a couple of days. If the skin lesion removed was large, it can create a permanent scar but the smaller ones can heal completely without leaving any scar at all.

Check with your doctor about the removal of skin tags, warts and moles. The best way to remove your lesion can be determined by a physician. Don’t irritate your warts or moles by picking at them.
