Economically, it’s one of the worst times in the history of our country. There’s very little money floating around these days for entrepreneurs and new business ventures to get started, and in fact , lots of existing businesses are packing up shop and calling it quits. But that is the reason why it’s so vital to not give up.
When the going gets tough, the tough get going, they usually say. This is true economically as much as it’s true in any other situation. The people that always do the best in business are the ones who don’t sweat, who keep their cool and don’t give up when everybody else is panicking just to tread water.
I have had my fair share of business ventures go under. I have started two businesses and have watched them crumble. I would like to think that part of this is at least an indication of the times, and not simply because I’m a horrible businessman. But with the attitude of perseverance, of not giving up, it is simply a matter of time before something ultimately works out.
Smart ideas are good ideas whatever the current economic times. If you’ve got a smart idea and a dream of seeing it successful but you haven’t been able to get the money or the support to push it forward, you have no choice except to keep trying. Get creative. If you do not, all you may have is regrets.
I know as well as anybody how troublesome it is to get new ideas in motion and how difficult it can be to push your dreams into fact. But the current times could be bad for quite awhile yet. If you are waiting for things to get better, you might want to find another solution. Maybe you need to find methods of cutting your costs down so that you can do without a business loan, or of getting a more manageable loan. The solution is out there. Perseverance is the key.
