Water, Raw Food Good for Health

Water is a healing beverage. It does so many good things for the body, yet few people drink enough of it. Many people want something that tastes good or will give them a boost of energy, so they tend to drink more sodas and coffee than water. David Wolfe, raw food expert, recommends that people drink at least one liter of water as soon as they get up. Consuming this before any food or coffee can really help to cleanse the body of impurities. The second thing to help you stay healthy and lose weight is raw food. Consuming more raw fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds will ensure that your body is getting a lot of healthy enzymes and nutrients that it can’t get from cooked food. By simply replacing unhealthy snacks and sides with raw foods, you are guaranteed to lose weight and have more energy.

Exercising is also great, but it’s honestly not as beneficial as eating right and drinking water. That’s because exercise doesn’t clean your body of toxins. It’s easier to remove fat through your bowels than through sweat. Water helps the body get rid of fat easier. It also suppresses appetite, makes the blood flow better and helps the body digest.

Eating raw vegetables and fruits adds more water to your body. Broccoli, peaches, oranges, cucumber, strawberries and celery are all great examples of foods that will help keep the body healthy. Each time you visit the grocery store you should stock up on these items.

You might be thinking you already drink enough water. Here are some physical signs to let you know if you need to drink more: you’re constipated, your urine is pungent or dark, your allergies may be worse than normal, you may feel weak or lacking energy, and you may have a dry mouth or lips. If you already drink enough water, then keep up the good work. If not, make water a priority. For a couple weeks, try drinking nothing but water and see if there’s a difference in your body.
