The Japanese are popular in holding costume play, or commonly known as “cosplay”, in today’s society. It is very common in the streets of Japan to see random young and old people wearing anime-styled clothing, hair, and makeup that are holding various types of props. These players are dressed identical to a specific character drawn from popular fiction seen in diverse manga, anime, comic books, graphic novels, video games, and fantasy movies.
