The liquid and cells are steadily shed thru the vagina. This process prevents infection and keeps the vagina nice and clean. It is typically whitish in color and the consistency may vary according to the menstrual cycle. This discharge is normal but if the discharged is in excess or has surprising appearance or odour, it could be a matter or worry.
