How to Get Rid of Acne

BHA and Salicylic work because of its ability to dissolves blackheads, whiteheads and prevents the clogging of pores. Benzoyl peroxide is another common medication for mild to moderate acne. It is available in cleansers, gels, lotions and creams. Though Benzoyl peroxide in higher concentration is more effective, it irritates skin.

Antibiotics are frequently used for mild acne problems and Tetracycline is one of the most common ones. Antibiotics help reduce the inflammation and swelling of acne but are not dealing with the underlying problems like clogging of pores. With inflammation and swelling reduced, you may feel such antibiotics are effective in a short period of time. In fact, it may not be as effective as other powerful medication like Vitamin A Acid.

Finally, laser treatment is also common for mild to moderate acne problem but it is much more expensive. In addition, there are always associated risks with laser treatment and therefore it should only be done by doctors. There are different types of laser lights for acne treatment like blue-light therapy. Most of these lights aim at killing acne causing bacteria, shrinking sebaceous glands and decreasing sebum production in order to heal acne problems. You may notice visible results in around 1 month.
