How To Get More Out Of Your Circuit Training For Better Fat Loss And Faster Results

Of all the different exercise modalities, circuit training provides the most time effective tool for getting in shape and losing weight.

The problem here is that there are many ways to do circuit training and many people don’t know which direction to take.

So here is how to get more out of your circuit training for better fat loss:

1. Don’t exercise your small muscles before your big muscles: There are many programs out there that have you exercising your triceps and biceps before your bigger muscles. This is not good because working a small muscle can limit the amount of exercise a big muscle can do.

2. Avoid running on empty: The worst and most painful thing you can do is exercise on an empty stomach. Not only will you feel horrible, but you will also burn less fat and not have enough energy to exercise at full capacity.

3. Don’t rely on total body circuits if you feel a lack of control: Instead, break up your workouts into lower body circuits and upper body circuits. This will prevent you from having to deal with any type of serious injury.

4. Exercise muscles that have opposing actions: For example, construct your circuits so that you are doing a pushing movement followed by a pulling movement. By using opposing muscles, you don’t interfere with force production and can get more done per workout.

5. Focus on standing movements: The more exercise you do from the standing position the better. You see, when you stand up you activate a lot of smaller muscles which make it easier for you to burn fat. Never make your workouts machine focused.

6. Rest a lot: You are going to need to rest a lot between workouts. If you don’t, you may not be able to recover properly. And if you don’t recover the intensity of your workouts will begin to suffer. So always make sure you are well rested.

Fat loss is best achieved with circuit training if time is an issue. So take action on this advice now if you want to lose fat quickly!
