Techniques to stop worrying, today and forever. When you worry you are causing more stress in your live that you really do not need. And people that worry usually have a hard time enjoying life, especially their daily life.
Usually when one starts to worry, it starts with just one thought. That thought is started with one question. What if? Then it snow balls out of control from that very second when that question pops into your head.
If you don’t get a hold of it from the very beginning, then it can spiral out of control. You start getting scared, at something that is so minor, although it doesn’t feel minor. But if you can ask your self, what’s the worst thing that can happen, when that question comes to your head. You’re going to see for yourself that the worse thing that can happen, isn’t even usually bad.
If you’re going to be late to work, you immediately think, what if? Instead of hurrying and getting all frantic. Ask yourself, so what if I’m late to work today. What’s the worse thing that can happen? You will answer, something like, my boss will be angry. If this isn’t a reoccurring incident, then he or she may get mad, but they’ll get over it. It’s not like you’re going to go to jail or something.
Well then ask yourself what’s the worse thing that could happen. So even though it’s not fun having your car break down, or getting stuck on the freeway, really though, it’s not something that should stress your life out to the point of fear, or anxiety or panic. And if you don’t get a hold of this worry, fear, what ever you want to call it, then it will get worse.
You can teach your brain how to respond about anything. This can take some practice since it’s not something most have really done before. But it’s worth the time and practice it takes. When you get scared or excited, it’s the same thing, adrenaline rushes through your body. When you get ready to take a roller coaster ride you still feel the adrenaline, but you aren’t scared, you know it’s thrilling. But if you’re being chased by a bear, that’s scary, although it’s still the adrenaline. Mentally you know the difference and it’s a good thing. It causes you to react and run from the bear. But if it’s just a thought, you can make this adrenaline rush or cease in its place.
Techniques to stop worrying are attainable by your own thoughts. You do have control over your thoughts and you can stop the cycle of fear right here and right now, forever. Do not allow yourself to give into fearful thoughts. And ask yourself, what’s the worse thing that could happen, if a what if thought pops in. In almost every single case, nothing tragic is going to happen, you’re going to be fine.
