Would an Acai supplement really help me lose weight?

I’m interested in getting an Acai supplement, like Natrol’s 1000mg supplement. Does Acai really help with weight loss? What are its real benefits?

  1. The Acai berry is actually very powerful when it comes to helping people lose weight. Considering how important weight loss is to many peoples health (not forgetting that many people want to lose weight to look as good as possible) that is a massive benefit.

Despite claims that the Acai berry will ‘lose you weight’ that is not the case. What the Acai berry does is work as a tremendous enhancer of weight loss. It aids and supports an weight loss system that you are running, either dietary or exercise. It does so in 3 ways.

1.Providing an energy boost – this helps improve stamina when exercising

2.Suppressing the appetite – allowing you to eat less calories and avoid diet related hunger pangs

3.Increasing the metabolism – allowing more calories to be burned whenever any exercise is done

  2. Maria Prime says:

Acai berry is good for your overall health but it not related to weight loss. The active component used in most diet pills are Ephedrine. Ephedrine is an alkaloid from the leaves of Ephededra equisetina, E. Sinica, and other species (family Gnetaceae). It is also called Ephedra & Ma Huang, the plant source for the Alkaloid ephedrine. Indigenous to China, India and parts of Southeast Asia. According to the FDA, products containing ephedrine extracts have caused hundreds of illnesses, including seizures, heart attacks, strokes and even death. They are amphetamine-like compounds with powerful and potentially lethal stimulant effects on the central nervous system and the heart. These compounds act as stimulants that can cause rapid or irregular heartbeats (heart arrhythmia). It dilates the bronchial muscles, contacts the nasal mucosa, raises the blood pressure and is a cardiac stimulant. Further these compounds often cause psychological side effects such as depression, nervousness, insomnia, and rapid heart rate. When taken in combination with caffeine, ephedrine can over-stimulate the central nervous system, leading to potentially life-threatening results.

  3. I have been through it all and know what’s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can’t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I’ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.

Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.

First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can’t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising…

This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it’s good for the heart.

However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It’s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I’ve found a great addition to help any one out, it’s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don’t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don’t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn’t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It’s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace.com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it’s the best pill I’ve tried and I’ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn’t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I’ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.

Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.
