What is the best type of supplement for maintaining muscle mass while losing fat?

Ex.- Amino acids, protein, glutamine, creatine, etc. I don’t have the money for all of them, so I need to know which one (used alone) will work best for maintaining muscle mass while losing body fat. Thanks

  1. Creatine is cheap as is whey protein powder. If you can only afford one, go for the whey protein powder. If you want higher performance in the gym go for creatine.
