Creatine seems to be the norm for high school athletes. Paired with a protein supplement you would likely see some decent gains.
The best is protein. Some will say creatine, but I personally to not like it. All it does is cause water retention. It only make you look bigger. Eating a lot and working out just as much is your best bet.
