Triceps Press-downs With A Rope For Toning Your Arms

Every expert has a different opinion as to what the best arm exercises for women are. And in some cases said opinions are dangerous. Triceps dips, for instance, are very bad for the shoulder.

And how are you supposed to know who to listen to? Unless you are a trained expert, there is no way for you to separate fact from fiction.

And if you want toned arms ASAP, you need to know exactly where the wheat is. The good news is that I’ve spent a large portion of my career finding the wheat so that you don’t have to. I’ve decided to analyze every single arm exercise I can find.

Thus, today we shall review the triceps press down with a rope for getting rid of arm fat:

1. Snapshot: This exercise isolates the lateral head of your triceps. The lateral head forms the outer part of your upper arm. Although you can’t use a lot of weight when doing this exercise, it still does a relatively good job at working the triceps.

2. Technique jump start: Find a rope attachment on a machine and grasp it with an overhand grip. Make sure to keep the elbows locked to your sides and tighten your abs. Bring the rope down in a controlled manner. Then, once you reach the bottom, let it slowly come back up.

3. Frequent mistakes: Not moving the rope through a complete range of motion. Not keeping the elbows frozen in place. And letting the shoulders round forward and the chest cave in.

4. Final word: The main issue with this exercise is an inability to use heavy weights because of the rope attachment. Having said that, it’s still above average. I would only include this exercise in an arm-toning routine for variety, and would not make it a staple.

Don’t expect to find a single best exercise for getting rid of arm fat. Instead, you should focus on doing a combination of top-tier arm exercises for the best results. Each exercise will have some type of drawback or limitation. So it’s in your best interest to do a combination of only the best.

Finally, make sure you don’t suffer from analysis paralysis. Take steps now and don’t obsess about analyzing all the details.
