Many people think that the best way to loose weight is to eat less. I myself have tried it and I actually gained weight believe it or not.

The key is to actually eat more times a day. These are sure ways to drop pounds. A well balanced intake of food daily should include eating 3 meals a day and snacks in between. Make sure you include all the food groups in your meal plan.

Once you have come up with a comfortable meal plan then your next move is to start exercising. Start off doing cardiovascular four to five times a week for 30 minutes each time. After some time of doing the two simultaneously you will start to see some results. Make sure your diet is a healthy one. When choosing foods for your meals make sure they are high in fiber and protein. When they are high in fiber it tends to make you feel fuller faster. Get rid of any junk food and replace it with vegetables and fruits and make sure you drink plenty of water. Don’t skip meals because then you have denied your body the nutrients it needs.

Don’t give yourself high goals to achieve at first. Divide them up into smaller goals. For example, don’t try and loose 20 pounds, instead set it up to where you want to lose 5 pounds and keep resetting your goal once you reach it. Monitor your exercise and your diet. Keep a journal handy with each day’s information.

Be consistent! Once you’re comfortable with your plan try and up your exercise to five to six times a week. These are sure ways to drop pounds.
