To Grow Taller You Will Want To Make Improvements To Your Posture

A lot of people, probably most, don’t consider their posture on a normal basis, nor do most people understand its importance. There are a number of benefits to a good posture, and you would be pleased to learn the effect of posture exercises. In order to grow taller, try and learn about some rather simple posture exercises that you can use to add a few inches to your height.

You’re going to need to pick whether you want to make the effort at maintaining a straight posture all day, no matter what it is you’re doing. It isn’t necessarily enough to make you taller, however. If you really want to become a few inches taller, then you will benefit by using some different posture exercises that will really help you in stretching your spine.

One of the first things to do is the exercise that has become known as the “Bowing Down to Yourself.” This straightforward exercise is very effective at improving your overall posture, by stretching the upper back muscles efficiently. If you’d like to try this exercise, then you will begin in a chair, sitting with a straight back. Bring your chin down to your chest slowly, taking 3 deep breaths, raising up your head.

Another one to try is to try the Ear To Shoulder stretch. Again, this is going to help to improve your posture, targeting your upper back muscles with a stretch. Begin in the same position as before, and inhale deeply. When you breath out, roll your right ear to your right shoulder, taking another deep breath. Exhale slowly as you roll your chin back to the first position, at your chest.

After this, take another deep inhalation, and as you breathe out, you want to roll the opposite ear towards the opposite shoulder. Take one last, deep breath, slowly exhaling as you return your chin to the beginning position on your chest in a very controlled and fluid movement.

The final posture exercise that you can try in order to grow taller is pretty simple, the Turkey Stretch. This one will target the back of your neck, which may help you to improve in your overall height.

Start this exercise at the same starting point of sitting down in a chair, and then focus on the point in front of your nose as you lift up one of your hands to your chin. Breathe in deeply as you rest your hand on your chin, then gently breathe out. As you exhale, gently extend your chin downwards towards your neck, until you can sense the stretch at the rear of your neck. Once you reach the point where you can’t breathe out any more, then you should repeat the exercise three times.
