The Effects Of Depression

Who is more likely to become affected by or suffer from psychological problems? the answer nearly everyone. It is believed that depression affects nearly 20% of the population in Australia – this means that nearly 4 million people have suffered a bout of clinical depression at some time. Depression affects everyone in different ways with some cases more severe than others.

Someone suffering from serious depression needs nurturing and this can often be done with medical help.

What to expect if depression takes hold. Depression can cause unbearable emotional pain which will often your life to turn upside down, if the depression escalates out of control.

Remember, if you have been diagnosed with depression – you are not on your own. People around you feel some of your pain and are often affected as well.

Sadness and bouts of lethargy are often for depression; these symptoms do not necessarily mean that you are suffering from depression, as they also relate to every day stress – but they can mean you are experiencing a form of depression.
