Personal Coaching – Observing the Dysfunctional Ego
When an egocentric person meets someone for the first time, he will silently be asking himself, “In what ways can I benefit from this person?” In other words, the ego is always on the take.

Becoming consciously aware of your ego when facing each challenge in life is necessary for ego transcendence. Calmly and patiently being vigilant to each challenge as soon as it arises, will allow the challenge to play itself out, and eventually dissolve. Your only concern should be what is happening now, in the present moment.
Every thought you have is a simple form of energy. When negative thoughts are allowed to accumulate, they fester, intensify and become emotional in nature. If ignored or denied over time, these dark emotions tend to cling to our psyche, becoming tar-like and parasitical. Negative thoughts and emotions that arise from time to time are shamed by the ego and therefore denied or repressed altogether. The more you repress this negative self, the darker and denser it becomes.
Everything in nature evolves. Life was once a single-celled organism. In fact, for most of the past four billion years, life on Earth consisted of the microorganism and nothing more. After bacteria, algae, and fungi formed, evolution leaped forward, manifesting as the dinosaur which prospered for about 165 million years. The reptiles, turtles, and birds of today are all that’s left from the Dinosaur Age.
“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven.” — Luke 6:37
Most people are not aware just how dangerous their opinions can be. There are two types of opinions. The first type I refer to as an “egoic opinion” and constitutes the high majority of all opinions. The second type is “non-egoic” and is the opinion type of the self-realized.
The current human species currently allows over a billion of its own people to live below the poverty level. It also allows for millions of its own people to die violently in ongoing wars. I believe that the success of a human species should be directly related to its ability to get along with one another in a cooperative state of peace and harmony.
Spiritual Life Coaching can help you to transcend the ego and learn how to honor and respect other people’s opinions, no matter how much they may oppose yours. When you realize the importance of not cherishing your own opinions, you dissolve the basis for all conflict, violence, and war on this planet.
Our shadow gets projected onto others when we don’t want to face whatever is too painful to accept in ourselves. And so we do everything to keep these traits, behaviors, or issues out of sight. By ignoring them, we act is if they are not there. But not only does this bolster them, these same repressed angers, hurts, or shameful behaviors will get projected onto our mate in the forms of blame, judgment, and condemnation.
