As much as others might find it odd, I truly enjoy working being an accountant. My job is with one of the companies within my town. The sole problem with this job is that I end up staying late at work, which my hubby is never too happy about.

As soon as my spouse and I moved to a new city, we understood that it would require sometime before we could feel comfortable there. But, we were aware that regardless of where we lived, danger couldn’t always be averted.

Recently, law enforcement agencies all around the country have moved away from using more heavy-handed suppression techniques on criminals. Instead, they have invested in non-lethal weapons and tools to assist in the fight against crime.

My confidence in being able to defend myself has waned ever since I became pregnant. I can’t tell how to handle my body half the time, or how it is going to react to numerous stimuli, and that’s just every day. What more in a difficult scenario like getting mugged?

As soon as I opened up my very own dress shop, I did not know that I would frequently be there until late, finishing up work. I did not feel very secure about going back home after dark however I had no choice.

My daddy left when I was still a kid. I knew then that I had to step it up and help my mom by being the man of the house. Even as a kid, I was aware that my most crucial obligation was to make sure that my mom and my sister were always safe.

I work part-time at a fast food place to help pay for my college tuition. I make an effort to get morning classes only so that I can go to my shift afterwards. Work would end late sometimes, which worried my mother about my safety.

The moment I initially took a job as a security guard for a neighborhood shopping mall, we weren’t provided a lot of equipment. We were given the standard wooden billy club, almost one and a half feet in length, which I found to be somewhat short and flimsy.

No one has the right to get into our home and cause us harm. When it comes down to that, I’m willing to do everything within my ability to safeguard my sanctuary and my loved ones.
