Small Nutritional Facts That Can Make Lose Weight Faster

There is a lot of misinformation out there about nutrition. After all, obesity rates keep on rising which means there is a lot of money to be made.

The problem here is that it can be very hard for you to figure out who to listen to.

Thus, here are some small facts about nutrition that can make a big difference:

1. Coconut is good for you: In fact, plant saturated fat is much better than animal saturated fat. You see, animal saturated fat increases fat in your arteries and prevents you from being able to absorb carbs. So stay away from saturated fat from animals.

2. Combinations of foods are better than concentrations of single foods: You are far better off having a bowl of oatmeal with a combination of fruits instead of loading up on blueberries. You see, different foods interact with each other in a way that increases the total nutrition.

3. Don’t eat too much fruit: You can get just as much nutrition from vegetables and without all the sugar that fruit has. You see, fruit has fructose which can make your blood lipids worsen. Have fruit in moderation and try to focus your intake during breakfast.

4. Don’t feel obligated to go organic: Research has not clearly shown that organic food is better for you than regular food. While it is better for the environment, there is no conclusive evidence showing it’s better for your body.

5. Protein can be stored as fat very quickly: Although protein does have a very high thermic effect, it can still be stored as fat. So make sure you don’t eat endless amounts of protein just because you think it won’t be stored as fat.

6. Protein powders will never rival whole food: You see, protein powders digest much faster than whole food which makes it very hard for your body to get in the best shape possible. Even worse, you will feel hungrier when taking protein powders.

Nutrition has become confusing for the average consumer. But you don’t have to be confused any more. Take action today for better results!
