Online Life Coaching – The Power of Heart-Based Love

When you fall in love with the mind (right-brain), you enter the realm of attachment and bondage. You become immersed in a place of rapture and bliss, for sure, but these are only the result of hormonal and chemical reactions from the brain. The release of neurotransmitters, however, are only temporary. The brain can’t keep dishing out serotonin forever. True love, on the other hand, comes from the heart, and is therefore not dependent upon biochemical stimulus.

Learning how to love your Self is not easy. Most of us receive messages to the contrary. And they all stem from the egoic mind. We are demeaned by over-protective governments and overbearing bosses on the job. And of course, we are belittled by bullies at school or on the internet. Loving the Self becomes a chore too overburdening to keep up on a regular basis. The mind begins to believe what it hears from others and it repeats these messages inside our heads hundreds of times a day, every day. We become programmed by these self-abusive, self-hating communications, and the end result is shame and feelings of unworthiness.

Heart-based messages, on the other hand, are sent with unconditional love. They do not require us to meet any standards or fulfill any requirements. Communication from the heart-brain is sent outward with a force that is much more powerful than that of the cranial brain. This is because the heart’s electrical field is 60 times greater than the electrical field of the brain, and the heart’s electromagnetic field is 5,000 times greater in strength than the electromagnetic field of the brain.

Getting out your head and into your heart requires practicing unconditional love. You can begin this by loving the universe as it presents itself to you in the eternal Now. This means lovingly accepting what the present moment brings no matter how much you don’t approve of it. When you can learn how to say “yes” to whatever is, then you’ve learned how to live from the heart.

Living in the ego means living in the brain and therefore you have imprisoned yourself in an organic supercomputer. Not only are you limited to what you can perceive, you are limited to what you can feel. The brain only knows how to experience more stimulus; what brings the body pleasure. But temporary pleasure is not the same as eternal joy. The two are light years apart.

Learning how to love life without condition also means learning how to love others in the same way. You’ll find that you’re not reacting, blaming, condemning, or judging others any longer. All of your relationships become deeper and more real. Life becomes more colorful and exciting. Stress and anxiety dissolves and a new passion for life emerges. This is the beginning of enlightenment.
