The Benefits of Life Coaching

What is Life Coaching?

Life Coaching is inspiring, inspiring, positive, exciting and action driven. Life training helps you look at where you are now and where you would like to be, and helps you cross the gap. By raising awareness and inspiring you to take responsibility for your life, life training will help you rise to your own particular challenge and go further than you ever thought practical.

So , is this magic? Does the Life Coach just wave a magical wand and make everything wonderful? Sadly no, and it has got to be said, that training involves a lot of tough work and commitment. Nevertheless if you are prepared for change in your life, the benefits can be giant.

Sounds excellent so far, but what if you're doubtful if your issues are suitable for training? The only way to be truly sure is to have an informal talk with a life coach. Nonetheless have a look at the following statements and see if they apply to you.

*I’ve had an issue or challenge that's been around for a long while, but I've never managed to sort it out.

*I have a pressing issue to deal with but do not know where to begin.

*Things are OK for me but could be better.

*I appear to spend all of my life making an attempt to catch up.

*My life looks to be all work and no play.

*I think things would be great if only I had ..a new job, I could shed weight, I could sell my houseetc. Etc

*I would just like to run my ideas past someone who isn’t going to pour cold water over them all the time.

*I feel lonely in my job but find it difficult to speak to associates in case they take it as a hint that I have failed.

*I’m hiding relationship issues because I cannot share them with friends and family, as this would feel disloyal to my partner.

*I’m in a rut and feel too drained to get out of it.

*I’ve lost direction.

If you've identified with several of these statements, then life coaching could make the difference you're attempting to find.

The Benefits of Having a Life Coach

*You get to chat about your Problems and challenges with somebody who’s not going to interrupt you, make judgements about you, criticize what you are saying, or offer opinions based on their own experience.

*If you’ve got a whinging doubt about what you're doing in your life or things do not feel right, but you don't know why, it may be that your not sticking to your values, the things that are most crucial to you, like achievement, dom, success, caring for others, confidence etc. Your coach will help you discover your true values, and help you to work on a plan for satisfying them.

*Everything you are saying will be in total confidence.

*Your coach will offer proposals if it is appropriate and something that you would welcome.

How Does Life Coaching Work?

Training can be head to head or on the telefone. You will meet/ring your coach at a pre-arranged time for weekly sessions, which can last between 30 and 60 minutes.

During that time, your coach will establish a controversy with you, and inspire you, with a series of questions to set a goal. With direction from your coach, you may explore various options open to you that might permit you to take a step closer to your goal. What if chatting to somebody doesn't appeal? Plenty of coaches now do e-mail training which can sometimes be surprisingly effective, giving both parties the time to think before setting their thoughts, queries and responses down in type.

Whichever technique you choose, life training will be a difficult experience for you, requiring a high level of keenness and commitment, but definitely worth the effort.
