How to lose muscle mass on thighs?

I am on the track team and i did too much squat exercise on my thighs and nwo they are too big and unnattractive. I am going to stop doing squats but i wanted to knwo if you could lose muscle mass. I heard that if you avoid protein and start long distance running it will begin to eat the muscle and make them smaller. I was wondering if this was actually true so i dont go running and actually make them bigger than needed. Also, does green tea contain protein?

  1. All you can do is wait for the muscle to recede. Long distance running paired with a low-fat diet will do the trick (if there is no fat to burn, your body will start using muscle for calories) – but it will take time!

In the short term, try pilates or yoga (not power yoga). After I started doing pilates, i really noticed a difference in the shape of my body. It stretches and elongates the muscles, and gives them a feminine shape. You should take a few classes if possible, to get the poses down and make sure you’re doing it correctly, then just buy a tape. I like Windsor Pilates. And take pride in your strong runner’s legs! I’m sure they look just fine.

Green tea has no protein, and if you want to lose muscle you can try eating very little calories and then your body eats away your muscle, and a bit of your fat.

Just stopping doing the squats will make your thighs smaller. Do lower intensity exercise that doesn’t require as much strength or power – i.e. long distance running.
How heavy are you? If you’re really muscly then just holding yourself up could be working your thighs.

I honestly think that you are making a bigger deal than it really is, i have never seen a girl with too much muscle, and if your a guy, then normal guys like that kind of stuff. I think you should ignore the fact that you think that they are big and unattractive and instead make them leaner to make them smaller and WAY more attractive. Dont avoid protein, you not only need protein for muscles but for alot of other body processes like…thinking! You can start running long distances and that does make it so that your body uses some of the muscle you have for energy and you willl lose fat at the same time. But seriously, dont cut out your protein, running long distances will make them leaner and smaller and look good. And to answer your last question, No, green tea does not have protein, but drink it, its good.

Hey, this is Sam, im a fitness instructor, (or I used to be). Cycling is the best way to build slim, sexy but strong legs, butt, back and tummy. Forget about those gym exercise bikes. Quite useless. Go and get a real bike and make it a point to ride it at least an hour, two times a week, on high gear,Going fast in a place that has a lot of slopes,(uphill, not downhill)
It’s a whole lot more fun than sitting in a gym staring at the wall, while youre cycling. Go to far places and have a blast. Just 4-5 sessions like that will and you will really notice the difference. Ok?
