How To Get Six Pack Abs

Your abs can make you look strong and sexy or they can make you look like an out of shape person. Many people can only dream about getting a six pack for a stomach. It does not matter what age you are, you can get a six pack stomach with hard work and determination. Read on to know how to get six pack abs.

Understand that you are going to have to change your diet while you do this. You are going to concentrate not only on the exercises that you need, but on the food that you are eating. This change in habit could be the hardest. You can’t have a six pack if you have a bunch of skin fat.

Crunches. These will help. Get down on the floor and bend lift your legs in the air or have your knees bent so that your feet are flat on the floor. The small of your back should be on the floor. Now, lift your head off the floor so that you are trying to touch it on the ceiling. Repeat for as long as you can.

Vary these crunches from looking at a point on the ceiling to trying to pull your head to your knees by only using your stomach muscles. Pretend you are holding a tennis ball under your chin so your head does not move. You will feel a difference in how your muscles work.

The sit up is still one of the best. Get yourself all the way down on the floor with someone holding your feet or wedge them under a piece of furniture. Pull your chest up with your stomach muscles only and lower yourself back down. You want your arms over your chest so that you don’t pull and cheat if they were behind your head.

Do leg lifts. Lie on the ground flat so that your legs are fully extended. Lift your legs straight off the ground perpendicular in the air. Lower down and do it again keeping your legs off the floor.

Now that you have the exercises, you need to work on your diet. Eat a diet rich in protein and fiber. Eliminate as much fat out of your diet as possible. In addition, add weightlifting to your workout to that you can burn even more fat and build lean muscle.
