How Is A Clairvoyant Reading Attained

A clairvoyant is often interchanged with the word psychic, or medium, to mean someone that sees or senses things about another person or situation that other people do not usually see. For this reason, people seek some information from a clairvoyant reading during times of personal stress, such as when they are facing money worries or during difficulties within a relationship or marriage.

A clairvoyant is able to obtain information from many sources, including people that have passed over the other side. These people may or may not have known the person being read for in their own lives, but they usually are a family member that has passed on, and they wish to impart thoughts and opinions on particular issues their loved one is facing at the current time.

Using the tarot

Sometimes tarot cards can be used by the medium to give a reading to someone. Using such cards will help the reader to get a clearer view of a situation, and they cards are put down in a spread designed to gather information based on the history of the problem or situation, the current issues surrounding it, what the future looks like and any other problems linked to it. Tarot cards consist of 78 cards – 22 major arcana cards and 56 minor arcana ones.

Some mediums use other types of cards to read with, such as ordinary playing cards, which can almost substitute the minor arcana in a tarot deck, except the tarot deck has one extra card per suit than playing cards do. Other clairvoyants use angel cards or different packs of cards but they are all read in the same way.

Divination using runes

Many mediums prefer to divine information using another method, such as rune stones. There are a selection of different divination stones, sticks, gemstones and so on, used by the clairvoyant to obtain information. Rune stones, in particular, are easy to use as they have symbols drawn on them.

Using crystal balls

Some mediums choose to obtain their information from the spirit world by using a crystal ball or similar idea, for example a bowl of water and ink, to enable them to see the reading they are giving. They see things which are meaningful only to the clairvoyant themselves, and which help them to open up to the power of the spirit that they wish to make contact with and the information they wish to receive.

Whichever method the medium chooses, they will see symbols which they then interpret in different ways in order to give a reading which will be unique to their client.
