How Datuk Chua Served Malaysia With Dedication

Datuk Chua, a well-known name of Malaysian politics who worked hard for the individuals of Malaysia.Datuk Chua was also identified as Dr. Chua. During his 22 years of political career he faced many ups and downs in his career. However he became one of the most successful politicians and he was held several totally different posts during his career. He was born on 2nd July, 1947 and later on got higher education in psychology. He also trained individuals within the area of psychology. He himself worked as a psychiatrist. He believed to educate individuals and worked in different fields to help the people of Malaysia.

Initially he got reorganization as a psychologist then as a physician and later he became popular as a successful political leader whatever Dr. Chua did, did with great courage and dedication whether the work is done as a physician or as a politician. He has built an excellent reputation among the national public. He got married with a Malaysian chinese girl Wong Sek Hin. He has three children. When Datuk Chua entered in his political career he had to work very hard and had to face many problems. Earlier he was not given a high post. However later because of his excellent and dedicated work, he held the post of health minister during the years 2004-2008. He began his political profession from the 1990 and after that he never looked back. He was not only a great politician but a great human being also.

He had a great knowledge of medical science and on the basis of his knowledge he had setup a private practice polyclinic in the year 1977. Datuk Chua became very proficient and well-liked in the area of Medical science. He also held the post of medical officer for the same reason. After holding the post he brought several positive changes and served many innocent folks by providing them excellent medical treatment. However afterward Dr. Chua sold the clinic and select to come to the new career of politics. Firstly he was elected as an assemblyman for the State of Pengram in yr 1986 with the ticket of MCA. As an assemblyman he served there for 18 years and after that he was appointed as an executive counselor.

In the 2004 elections, Dr. Chua participated and got victory leaving behind all the well-known politician of that time. This was one of the reasons of his appointment as a health minister. The president of Malaysia gave him appointment into the cabinet. Later he was appointed in many prominent posts. Datuk Chua came back in 2008 and won Pahat. He again contested for the MCA deputy presidency and defeated Lee Hak, Donald Lim and Ong Ka Chuan.

However Dr. Chuahad to move to the isolated political career when he was leftout of the MCA leadership by Tee Keat in Johor. At a time Dr. Chua was the only appointed chairman for the Government policy Monitoring bureau. He also held the post of Vice President of the MCA. Aside from all this Dr. Chua had some more portfolios where he served with dedication.

The MCA is a Malaysian political part which represents the Malaysian-Chinese ethnicity and is among the three major constituent parties of the Barison Nasional which is the ruling coalition in Malaysia. Along with the other 2 major component parties i.e. United Malays National Organization (UMNO) and Malaysian Indian congress (MIC), MCA continues to have strong forte in the politics of Malaysia.
