How can one know which brand of herbal supplements is best and most credible?

I spend alot of money buying alot of herbal and nutritional supplements, but lately I’ve been wondering how one can know which supplements truly contain the ingredients that they claim in the amounts that they claim, and whether they are manufactured with quality standards, etc. Since they aren’t regulated, how can one know for sure. Are there any brands that are frequently tested by independent labs, and how does one know that the supplement company is not just paying off the lab to give it a passing score? I’m obsessing over this but don’t know how to find credible information about it. Can anyone help? Thank you.

  1. The Herbal supplements that I use come from Herbalife International. They have been in busines for like 26 years now and I have been using their supplements for the last 6…by the way I have lost 95 lbs in 8 months using them and I have kept the weight off for over 5 years now. If you think that is something you might be interested in , get back with me and I will put you in touch with my distributor.

Product longevity in the marketplace is one indicator. A product that isn’t good doesn”t last. I know Shaklee is one of the good ones. It’s been around for well over 30 years and is still used by many people. Their product is really well tested and does contain what they say it does. Irent a room from someone who’s been involved with Shaklee for a long time because she knows it works. She’s seen it help a great many people.

If you contact a Shaklee distributor, he or she can give you information. The company makes public its test results and such so you can judge for yourself. The stuff is a little more expensive, but really does work. If you can’t find anyone (Shaklee people don’t need to do a lot of advertising, I guess, so they don’t) email me and I can find out for you how to find one.
