Do you take any other supplements during pregnancy other than your prenatal vitamin?
I’m thinking of taking an Omega 3 supplement as I feel it might be beneficial to my baby. I know there is one called Expecta but its pretty pricey. My OB said that I could take a fish oil supplement instead as its a little cheaper, but I’m afraid of the mercury content? Did anyone else take any omega 3 supplements while pregnant?

My prenatal vitamin came with a dha/omega 3 pill all in one box. It is made for pregnant women so I’m sticking with it. It’s one a day women’s prenatal.
I take a fish oil supplement. They are filtered to remove impurities, they don’t contain mercury. And with the fish oil, they are cheaper AND your body absorbs the nutrients better.
I take omega, and I also take calcium tablets. I had weak bones when I was younger and have had a child already so Im taking extra calcium to help.
fish oil pills do not contain mercury. The reason that a lot of fish contain mercury actually has to do with the packaging plants and water around the plants so fish oil would not contain mercury.
I TAKE EXPECTA………BTW EVERY BOX COMES WITH A $2 COUPON TOWARDS YOUR NEXT PURCHASE. SO IT’S ONLY LIKE $10 A MONTH. TOTALLY WORTH IT.
