Discover The Controversial Secrets Of The Aquarian Gospel

The Aquarian Gospel is an alternative telling of the life of Jesus. It was written by Levi Dowling, also known as Levi the transcriber. He believed that his information source came from the Akashic records. In New Age thinking, these records are the collected cosmic knowledge, containing the history of humanity and all things. Akasha is a word from the Sanskrit language, meaning sky or space. Levi claimed that he was able to update his knowledge, and therefore transcribe new knowledge about Jesus.

In New Age thinking, the Akashic writings are sometimes called The Book of Life. In terms of astrology and the study of constellations, time is separated into ages, each lasting two thousand years. For many who follow these systems of belief, the age known as Aquarius is coming soon. For this reason, there is interest in this alternative writing about the man named Jesus.

The complete title for this text is called The Aquarian Age Gospel of Jesus, The Christ of the Piscean Age. It has several core beliefs, including that Jesus puts on the role of Christ. In this text, Jesus is not Christ automatically by nature. He makes himself capable of becoming a fit vessel for The Christ through prayer and effort. This perception is in opposition to the beliefs of Christianity.

The Aquarian Christine Church Universal bases its beliefs on this, in the eyes of traditional Christianity, controversial text. Members call themselves Christine to emphasize the idea that a human is made holy, or anointed, by taking on the teachings and actions of one perfect human being, Jesus. The church teaches reincarnation, that humans must seek salvation through modeling their lives after the life of Jesus, and that all souls eventually mature and become perfect, ending the reincarnation cycle.

The text is ultimately a rewriting of bible history, certainly shaped by the belief systems of Spiritualism and Theosophy. It seeks to connect the missing two decades of historical description about Jesus as portrayed in the Christian bible. According to Levi, Jesus spent time in question studying in India, where he not only learned from spiritual masters, but also rebelled against the caste system. Levi is said to have accessed this information directly from the Akashic records.

Many scientists and scholars are skeptical about this Aquarian Gospel. Nobody can verify the sources or methods. But for Levi, and the Christine believers, the teachings are true. At war with traditional Christian teachings about Jesus, it provides an alternative framework for his life which supports a tenacious spiritual movement. Read more about: aquarian gospel
