Someone is healthy when all of the three doshas are present in a balance which is specific to each individual. However if one or more of the doshas is out of balance, the person gets afflicted with illness and this can manifest on the physical, psychological, emotional or spiritual plane.

Ayurveda prevents illness by maintaining someone’s natural balance of doshas in the body and mind. This is achieved when the individual enjoys a healthy lifestyle, regular exercise, good food habits and uses customised blends of herbs.
