As a sixteen year old, would any of you guys reccomend taking supplements to help myself build muscle?

I am due to start my rugby season in roughly a month. I would like to build up some extra muscle before I start, but do not want to lose fat. I am thinking of getting some sort of supplement that will give me more "bulk". Am I slightly too young for supplements still, and will a big, healthy diet be just as beneficial. I am working out roughly 3 times per week.

  1. Supplements are quite heavy, they can prevent you from growing or cause you a gland problem if you take them at a young age, they also affect your metabolism, so I would wait a little to begin taking them, if you have more doubts visit a doctor or a nutritionist they can give you some alternative solution to grow muscle.
