Treatment for rheumatoid arthritis includes medicines like NSAIDs or “nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs” and corticosteroids for the inflammation and swelling, and analgesics and anesthetics for the pain. Sometimes, the doctor may advice you to do home remedies like frequent and light mobility of the area, and decreasing salt in the diet. Sometimes he may even prescribe some supplements to stop or reverse the progression.
