Vegetables have fewer calories and can be very filling so you should always try to incorporate at least 2 or 3 different types of vegetables into your meals every day. You could also have a stock of carrot sticks or cherry tomatoes in your fridge and use as a snack food.

Eat breakfast

Try to get into the habit of starting every day with a well balanced breakfast. This will help you to get on with the rest of your day as your body has enough nutrients to work at its best. After a good night’s sleep, your body requires fuel so make sure it gets it.

Cut down on junk food

Most people would say that they would find it impossible to completely give up junk food. However you should try to limit the amount of times you eat junk food. Take your time and try eating a little less junk each week.

Set up an exercise schedule

It is a great idea to set aside time every week that you will use to do your exercises. Decide what you like to do, like jogging, swimming or playing tennis and make this a regular routine. You are more likely to stick to it if you schedule specific time for your exercise.

Keep your spirits up and believe in yourself and your abilities. Keep your goal in mind and focus on all the good things that you have achieved. Even if your weight loss is not as much as you hoped or things are happening slower than you had envisioned, don’t give up. Keep at it and you will get there.
