Using Our Magical Inheritance

As a pastor in church, I preach the gospel and edify believers. Over the years, I found that one of the most important things I can do to benefit a Christian is that to let they realize what they inherited by being born again by the Holy Spirit. Whether we know what we have in Christ and how to use them determine what we can do to help people with the power of the gospel.

The church we see today is too weak. There is no power, no life. It does not look like the church, which the Bible describes as the entity that is filled with all the fullness of God. The problem is today’s believers are filled with doctrines of man and traditions of man that have dulled the Word of God. Therefore, there is no display of power. We must start to claim back our inheritance immediately.

The majority of the body of Christ today still stays in the beginning of the doctrine of Christ. We know that we are sinners who but Jesus’ death and resurrection saved. But knowing that only is not enough. We must understand more deeply what Jesus died and rose to give us. It is more than the forgiveness of sin only, but also the right to enter the royal family as a son of God.

By receiving Jesus and believing in His name, we receive the power to become sons of God. By becoming the sons of God, we automatically inherit the rights to inherit everything of God. Just like Jesus did.

It is fearsome to know that Jesus gave us the power to become the heirs of God. We are joint-heirs with Christ. Whatever He has, it is also ours. But why don’t we see this in church today. It is because we don’t have faith in this. We must believe that what the Bible says it true. And we must pursuit it with our faith.

We know very clearly that, by John 1:12, we have the power to be the sons of God. When God invites us to build a relationship with Him, we are invited into a process of transformation. In our lives, this transformation is measurable, because we have a role model of “how to be a son of God”. And he is Jesus.
