How do you slim down without adding muscle mass?

Filed under: Questions & Answers — Anonymous @ 11:26 PM

It is a well known fact that women are not naturally prone to gaining large amounts of muscle mass; however, I get very muscular in my thighs and arms when I start working out. I just want to lean out and have a nice soft, sleek, and slender shape similar to Jessica Alba or Vanessa Minnillo. I know that adding muscle helps you lose weight but I tend to keep on the muscle. I just want to be tone not buff.

  2. I have the exact same problem! I swim and when I work out and do wall-sits, etc. I tend to gain a lot of muscle. I think the best thing to do is drink lots of water and JOG! I swear, running (Even though I hate it), as well as walking too, rids you of cellulite and tones your legs as well as helping you lose weight. What could be better? You don’t even need a machine! ;-) Good luck! :-D
