  1. Lovely vid! all the pros and cons of all the diets are so well explained! if any1 will ever need advice about diets, u r def one of the people to talk to!
    i’ve tried many diets too but still trying to figure out THE ONE for me. up to now i’ve lost quite a lot of weight and even got to the point were i was 2kg away from my goal! but then i screwed up and every time i try to loose i end up gaining! and now i’m up 15kg n hope i’ll find the right plan 4 me VERY soon!

  2. Congrats on all your weight loss success, Amber!

    Just wanted to make the point of how important it is to keep in mind that there are DIFFERENT KINDS of CARBS, some better for you and some that keep you full longer (“slow carbs”), etc…. and knowing how different carbs act can help us eat more mindfully whether we are on a diet a la Atkins or otherwise. For example, I am not on a diet per se, but have learned to eat better by getting to know little food factoids like this – works for me! πŸ™‚

  3. I am sorry that you are getting frustrated. Have you been counting your carb intake? sometimes when i don’t actually count what I am eating, I end up overeating carbs and not realizing it (they add up so fast!)

    Careful on the cheese, and the veggies. Veggies do have carbs in them, make sure you are only eating the recommended amount it is very important. Don’t lose motivation, be persistant…

  4. I totally agree with you Amber that PERSISTENCY (+ CONSISTENCY) are the keys to successful weight loss. I know ppl. who achieve their goal weight by Atkins but for my case eating lots of meats and fat is my concern. I have cholesterol + high LDL so Im quite afraid of eating fat. Also eating meat causes me constipation. What do u think about ppl. who are having a fat-related health problem going for Atkins? BTW, you look amazing, you come so far, keep up your good job!

  7. ugh.. I know.. still am tweeking with the settings. I turned down the mic volume because their was a high pitched noise. Still trying to perfect it… πŸ˜›

    I think the shaking was from my editing program, cuz when I saw the original, it didn’t do that until after editing.. πŸ™

    It will get better.

    Yeah.. I pretty much know everything about every diet out there.. pft.

  9. Hi Amber! Loved the video! Atkins works for me, too! I need the restrictive plan, because the more carbs I eat the more I crave! I recently went back to calorie counting and failed! I couldn’t control my cravings! Now I’m back on Atkins! Am so happy to be back there! πŸ™‚

  11. Very Good Amber! Thank you so much for sharing your weight loss struggles and plans that you have tried. I tried most everything also, and at my age(51) low carb is the best of the best, I feel fantastic, no more surgar and high carbs and the hunger is gone…
    I am sitting here eating my low carb icecream enjoying my low carb treat.
    I was at a 3 week stall, still lost INCHES and I never gave up plan
    Keep up the good work, you are doing awesome, and I love that Atkins is working for you.:)

  12. I have a hard time sticking to this, im stalling. and its so hard. I’ve been stalling for the past 2 months, and its so hard. So so so hard. Im losing motivation rapidly. πŸ™

  13. you “pretty much” hit the nail on the head for me! There are some great low-carb vids out here for those us us who may not be creative. I SO like the Atkins plan. That is my saving grace on P3 of my hCG protocol.
