Make your hair grow faster

Filed under: Healthy, Uncategorized — Anonymous @ 8:40 PM

It never fails. At some point in our lives, virtually every one of us ponders some mystical drug or remedy for some random affliction. Maybe the affliction is severe like cancer, and maybe it’s more of a cosmetic issue such as hair loss. Either way, we’d love to just be able to pull a serum out of a magic hat and SHAZAM. No more problem. Unfortunately the real world doesn’t work that way. In this chaotic, hard and less than utopian existence we all know too well, ideal remedies are difficult to come by. So for all you folks who want to make your hair grow faster, increase your height by 6 inches, or heighten brain power times 50, I’ve got some dismal news for you. The world wasn’t made that way.

Teeth Whitening System

Filed under: Healthy, Uncategorized — Anonymous @ 3:18 PM

Having a bright and beautiful smile is something virtually everyone wants. We’re all told when we are young to brush and floss our teeth, to visit the dentist for cleanings every six months and to avoid coffee and cola so we don’t stain our pearly whites. Most of us don’t take as good a care of our teeth as we should and it can result in yellowish teeth as opposed to striking white ones. With a teeth whitening system that can easily be fixed, and a smile that was once dingy and gray can be renewed to a gleaming white.

Allergic reaction

Filed under: Healthy, Uncategorized — Anonymous @ 7:59 PM

My daughter’s preschool teacher sent home a memo the first week of school to let all of the parents know that one of the children in the class has a severe allergy to peanuts. We were supposed to keep this in mind for when it was our turn to provide the class treats each week. I had never had to deal with a food allergy in my family, so this was completely new to me. When it was my snack week, I went crazy trying to find something that would cause this child to have an allergic reaction. I am shocked at how many products without peanuts have warnings that they may have come into contact with peanuts at some point. However, I ended up picking out some treats that didn’t adversely affect the child and everything was fine.

Pilates Certification

Filed under: Fitness, Uncategorized — Anonymous @ 5:17 PM

From the humble and studied beginnings of Joseph Pilates’ exercise program, developed in a World War I internment camp in England, the Pilates programs have grown into an industry. Joseph Pilates’ original studies involved years of research, virtually unrecognized in his lifetime, but now world-renowned. So famous and detailed were the works of Joseph Pilates, Pilates instructors today require certification to ensure you’re getting the real thing.

Restless Leg Syndrome

Filed under: Uncategorized — Anonymous @ 3:28 PM

Just when you think you’ve heard the weirdest most bizarre afflictions known to mankind, medical experts come up with some new deficiency, illness, disorder or mental problem. I am beginning to wonder if half these dilemmas are legit or simply psychological. One of the latest ones I heard about is called restless leg syndrome. Now what in the world is that? Well, supposedly it afflicts the legs by causing tingling, itching, burning, or the desire to move and shift about for no reason. I can’t say that I’ve ever encountered these issues. Sure, I’ve had bad leg cramps on occasion, but this “syndrome” clearly runs deeper.

Physical Therapy Education

Filed under: Uncategorized — Anonymous @ 3:01 PM

I think it’s safe to say that we all want to find our niche. That one place in the world that suits us perfectly. Now I’m not trying to get your hopes up. After all, this is no easy task. It can take plenty of time, patience, research, and perseverance. Oh, and did I mention time? Yeah, you get the point. Our fortes can definitely play a part in this journey. What are YOU good at, and where does your ambition lie? Once you find this out, you’ll be well on your way to contentment. Maybe you’d benefit from helping others. This is the path my cousin chose when he pursued his physical therapy education. He wanted more than anything to help people get back on their feet and move on with a healthy and happy life.

Large Breast Implant

Filed under: Healthy, Uncategorized — Anonymous @ 5:49 PM

Our society has certainly done its best to deem particular features beautiful and other not so desirable. I have to say” What’s up with that?” What happened to beauty being in the eye of the beholder? I’m still for this concept. The large breast implant is the epitome of this discussion. It hits it right on the nose. Millions of women around the globe feel that they need large breasts in order to be beautiful or complete as a woman. I totally disagree. I’m a perfectly health heterosexual male, and I could care less about a D-cup. It’s time to bring natural beauty back into the world. I’m tired of the plastic!

International Health Insurance

Filed under: Uncategorized — Anonymous @ 11:19 AM

Sometimes buying international health insurance is necessary, but there’s no guarantee that it is. Before you get international medical insurance, it makes sense to understand the health care policies of the country you are going to. Depending on where you are traveling, you may have to buy no health care at all or you may have to buy some very comprehensive health insurance. The international health insurance companies will try to make it look like a necessity. They will use every tactic to convince you that, if you even plan on spending a day outside of America, you need to buy all kinds of services. This is not the case, but you should be wary.

Pregnancy test

Filed under: Uncategorized — Anonymous @ 2:04 PM

I remember walking into CVS several years ago, nervously stalking the aisles and wondering if people knew why I was there. I stood there, staring at all of the brands of pregnancy tests and wondering which one would be the best and most reliable. I finally settled on EPT since it promised to detect early pregnancy before any other brand would. So, it was the EPT manufacturers that changed my life in a single moment. The pregnancy test assured me that motherhood was in my near future.
